China is a major bamboo producing country in the world, known as the "Kingdom of Bamboo". The total area of bamboo forests in China reaches 7.5627 million hectares, with a carbon storage capacity of 210 million tons. Among them, the area of Moso-bamboo forests is 5.2776 million hectares, and the number of Moso-bamboo poles exceeds 14.3 billion. Chinese people have loved bamboo since ancient times, and traditional bamboo products are closely related to people's everyday lives. Under the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, bamboo, with its strong carbon sequestration ability, has transformed into a new type of composite material - bamboo winding composite material, and becomes a new engine of green development.

近年来,随着内陆土地资源的日益紧缺,占地较广的光伏项目开始将应用场景逐步拓宽到了广袤的海洋。“双碳”背景下,海上光伏也成为全球海洋清洁能源开发的重点方向。为加快推进海洋生态文明建设,拓宽“以竹代塑、代钢”新应用场景,中林集团和中集来福士集团以竹缠绕复合材料为基材, 共同研发制造了全球首例竹基海上浮式光伏平台——集林一号。


In recent years, along with the increasing scarcity of inland land resources, photovoltaic projects that need large land area start to expand their application scenarios to the vast ocean gradually. Under the background of "Carbon peaking and neutrality", offshore photovoltaic has also become a key direction for global ocean clean-energy development. In order to accelerate and promote the construction of marine Eco-civilization, and expand the new application scenarios of "Bamboo as substitute for Plastic and Steel", China Forestry Group and CIMC Raffles Group jointly developed and manufactured the world's first bamboo based floating photovoltaic platform, Jilin-1, using bamboo winding composite as base material.


据悉,该平台于2023年10月驻扎于黄海近海海域实测,目前已在海上稳健运行将近一年,完全满足使用标准要求,经受住了海上风浪的严峻考验。


It is reported that the platform was stationed in the near waters of Yellow Sea for actual testing in October 2023, and has been operating steadily at sea for almost one year by now. It fully met the requirements of usage standards and withstood the severe test of sea waves.


竹缠绕海工材料是一种以竹子为基材,以树脂为胶黏剂,采用环绕工艺制成的生物基材料,具有重量轻、耐海水腐蚀、成本低、使用寿命长、绿色低碳、环保节能等特性,其加工生产的竹缠绕海工管可应用作光伏平台支架,并提供浮力支撑。


Bamboo winding marine material is a bio-based material using bamboo as base material and resin as adhesive, formed by winding process. It has characteristics such as low weight, sea-water corrosion resistance, low cost, long service life, green and low-carbon, environmental friendly and energy saving and so on.Bamboo winding marine pipe produced by this material can be applied as the  bracket of photovoltaic platform and provides buoyancy support.



目前,大多漂浮式海上光伏发电系统的漂浮结构体主要采用钢质焊接结构作为浮体框架以提供强度,改性聚乙烯作为浮体材料以提供浮力,而采用竹缠绕海工管搭建的竹缠绕海上光伏平台总重量仅约4吨,比钢质焊接结构光伏平台减重约30-40%。作为支架单元结构件的竹缠绕复合材料在被用于海上光伏平台搭建的同时,也可产生浮力,具有环境友好性高、耐海水腐蚀性强、成本低等优势,在替代目前漂浮式水上光伏系统中的高密度聚乙烯浮体和钢制焊接结构体具有较强的潜力,可有效保护海洋生态环境,真正实现“绿电绿造”。


At present, the floating structure of most floating offshore photovoltaic power generation systems mainly uses steel welded structures as the floating frame to provide strength, and modified polyethylene as the floating material to provide buoyancy. Meanwhile, the total weight of bamboo winding offshore photovoltaic platform constructed by bamboo winding offshore pipes is only about 4 tons, which is about 30-40% lighter than steel welded structure photovoltaic platform. As the structural component of the bracket unit, bamboo winding composite material can generate buoyancy at the same time when used for constructing offshore photovoltaic platform. It has the advantages of high environmental friendliness, strong resistance to sea-water corrosion, and low cost. It has strong potential to replace high-density polyethylene floats and steel welded structures in current floating water photovoltaic systems, effectively protect the marine Eco-environment and truly achieve "green electricity and green manufacturing".


以标准尺寸24m*24m*6m的光伏支架来计,量产后竹缠绕海上光伏平台造价约为原有的钢平台的70%,若竹缠绕复合材料能实现产业化,将大大降低漂浮式光伏发电平台的建造成本,有助于加快推动海上漂浮式光伏业务平价开发进程。


Calculated by the standard dimension of 24m * 24m * 6m photovoltaic brackets, the cost of bamboo winding offshore photovoltaic platform in its mass production is about 70% of the original steel platform. If bamboo winding composite material can be industrialized, it will greatly reduce the construction cost of floating photovoltaic power generation platform and help accelerate the development process of affordable offshore floating photovoltaic business.



竹缠绕海上光伏平台的市场开发前景非常可观,我国大陆海岸线长1.8万公里,近海光能资源十分丰富,可安装的海上光伏装机量超7000万千瓦。随着技术的进步和政策的支持,竹缠绕海上光伏平台的经济性将逐渐增强。同时,全球能源转型和可持续发展的需求不断增加以及“以竹代塑”的不断推进,为竹缠绕海上光伏行业提供了巨大的发展机遇,也为我国能源结构转型提供重要战略支撑。


The market development prospect of bamboo winding offshore platform is very promising.
